Hi! It’s me again! I’m Goose!
Oh man, did you hear all that rain and thunder. It went on for days and was really scary. Mom said it was Harvey. I don’t know who Harvey is but I don’t like him at all. My Mom let me sleep in her bed which was nice. I like sleeping in Mom’s bed.
Mom said that a lot of people and pets lost their homes and their things to Harvey. That’s horrible. My Dad went out and helped with some of the cleanup. Helping people and their pets seems like a really nice thing to do.
Mom said that a lot of people are still in need even though the rain has stopped. She said that at work they are even bringing in the dermatology department from Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists. Their hospital flooded and remained flooded for days. Oak Forest Vet Hospital will only be sharing their building space with GCVS for a while. But, it seems really nice that they will be back to help sick pets and all those jobs will be saved while GCVS works to find a new space for all their employees.
If you see Harvey, tell him he did not do a nice thing at all.
Gotta run. Mom says it’s dinner time.
