Guess what! Santa brought me a little brother! I got a baby yellow lab puppy for Christmas! His name is Knox and he is a baby. At first, I wasn’t too sure that I liked him. It’s a good thing that my Mom and Dad taught me to kennel. That’s my safe place. Come to think of it, I like to hang out in there a lot. Every pup needs a break some time.
Sometimes Knox gets in trouble. He pees or poops in the house on occasion. I learned not to do that a long time ago. I try to show him the ropes, but most of the time he just wants to play. Wow, being a big brother comes with a lot of responsibility. Silly puppy, doesn’t he know that if he goes potty outside he gets a special treat?
He also chews on EVERYTHING! For some reason he is obsessed with my Mom and Dad’s shoes from work. I guess because they smell like other dogs and cats. I sure hope he stops that soon. His teeth are super sharp!
Basically, Knox wants to play with me all the time. We rustle and tumble all day long. It’s a good thing I first met him when he was smaller than me. Right now we are about the same size, but my Mom (Dr. Moore) says he’s going to be a lot bigger than me. But since we met when I was bigger, he will always think of me as his “big” brother.
Gotta go! Knox says it’s time to eat. He is always hungry!!
