Katie Ramos, a native Houstonian, has lived in Oak Forest her entire life. Katie has a deep love and passion for all animals. After graduating from St. Pius X High School, Katie headed to University of Tennessee to nurture her talent for art. She soon realized her tendency for animal rescue was a pull she couldn’t ignore. Back home in Houston, Katie enrolled at the Vet Tech Institute of Houston and earned her Associates of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. Katie joined the team at Oak Forest Veterinary Hospital in December of 2019 and she is currently studying to become a licensed Veterinary Technician. Katie understands it when clients treat animals like family members, because in her home they are too!
