A lifelong Oak Forest resident and proud Houstonian, Katie has always had a deep-rooted love for animals. After graduating from St. Pius X High School, she pursued her artistic interests at the University of Tennessee, but her heart ultimately led her back to her true calling: animal care. Returning home, Katie enrolled at the Vet Tech Institute of Houston, where she earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. Since joining the Oak Forest Veterinary Hospital team in December 2019, Katie has combined her compassion, skill, and lifelong passion for animals to provide exceptional care every day. She understands when clients treat their pets like family because in her own home, they are family too.
