Dr. Hallie Ray Moore, a native Houstonian, graduated Cum Laude from Connecticut College with honors and distinction in the field of Psychology with a dance minor. After moving back home to Houston, she began working in the field of veterinary medicine and eventually applied to veterinary school. In 2003, she graduated from Texas A & M’s College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2007, she and her husband Tyler purchased Oak Forest Veterinary Hospital.

Professionally, Dr. Moore’s interests include Feline medicine, cardiology, and Senior care. She serves on the executive committee as President of the Harris County Board of Directors and represents Harris County at the state level as the representative to the Texas Veterinary Medical Association Board of Directors. Dr. Moore also volunteers on the Veterinary Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Harris County Veterinary Medical Association, and a lifetime member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. She is also a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and the American Heartworm Society.

Dr. Moore shares her life with her husband, Tyler. They have 2 beautiful children, Marion and Charlie, along with 4 legged kids, Goose and Knox and their feline friends Diana and Keece. In her spare time, she volunteers at her children’s school. Outside of work, Dr. Moore enjoys reading, fishing, and doing puzzles. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Houston. She is a member of Christ Church Cathedral and supports groups which address the needs of homeless in our city.
